AGAVES AND PALMTREES

Palm trees and agaves are iconic symbols of California. They are very present in the area and there are several species cultivated to make the streets greener. Planting should be important in every city, especially in efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change.

AGAVE AT PRISMAVERA

In Santa Barbara’s gardens, agaves stand as symbols of resilient beauty. Their sculptural rosettes are adapted to the region’s arid climate and thrive with minimal water. Their unique, geometric forms and varied hues—from deep greens to silvery blues—make agaves a popular choice for creating low-maintenance landscapes in the Santa Barbara area.
