The computer-animated scientific visualization LIFE shows intricate wonderfully detailed datasets in the form of stack images and their various volumetric representations, which fascinate with their detailed time-capture of the once real living unique organism. Various of these plankton-drifters which are origin, as well as, keepers of all life on earth – were captured for scientific imaging in salt or fresh waters. The processing of these rich and intriguing datasets was experimentation, trial and error that steadily led to animations for "LIFE". An immersion into the incredible density and diversity of plankton threatened by plastic and noise pollution.
